My dad, Jerry O’Gorman, was a man of courage and strength. He found strength and courage throughout his entire life. He was an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force. He was an amazing man who would give you his last dollar. He was also a man of few words. He had the ability to say what he wants to say without saying a word. He could speak with his eyes.

My dad was diagnosed September 2016, and passed away on Christmas night. He fought so hard. He had cancer several times and was in remission. He bounced back from a major stroke and never complained or shed a tear the entire fight.

To honor his memory, my 10 year old daughter and I have become advocates in the fight against pancreatic cancer
